What is Life Coaching?
Life coaching assists people in making changes in their lives so that they may attain greater fulfillment. Coaches help clients in understanding and improving their day-to-day lives. Coaching is action-oriented, focuses on where you are presently in your life and where you would like to be in the future. During the process, coaches help clients clarify their goals, identify the obstacles that are holding them back, and choose strategies to overcome each obstacle. In creating these strategies, coaches target the client's unique skills and gifts, making the most of their strengths.
I am there for my clients every step of the way, offering my insight, support, and encouragement. .
Doing something new or difficult is always better and more likely to happen with a partner or guide. I provide thought-provoking questions and exercises, while sharing the tools and strategies that will help them find their way to the life they envision.
What Life Coaching is Not
Life coaching is not clinical mental health services. There is no diagnosis or treatment of mental health concerns. Rather, coaches help their clients come to their own solutions through a series of tools and techniques. The coaching relationship is more about working together to help the client make the right decisions for them. During our get-to-know-you session and future sessions, I will gain an understanding of your coaching interests. If I find they would be better addressed with a mental health professional I will let you know. There are many people who engage in coaching and counseling simultaneously with different professionals
